ABOUT US

Why APEX?

APEX Windows is the leading distributor of vinyl windows. We take great pride in building energy efficient windows using the latest available technologies. Well designed and correctly manufactured windows should keep heat inside the home during the winter and outside the home in the summer. This reduces your energy related costs, minimizes the environmental impact, and increases comfort in your home. During cooling season, windows are a source of unwanted heat gain. Our windows can significantly reduce Solar Heat Gain without compromising clear views and daylight.

ClimaGuard combines eleven optically tuned layers, improving climate control chile providing plenty of natural light.

High Performance Reflective Coating Glass

Argon Gas

Filling the gap between the glass panes with a low-conductivity gas such as argon improves window performance by reducing the overall transfer of heat between the inside and outside of the house. The union of gas and glass firmly stands together to block harmful ultraviolet sun rays and heat transfer; major causes of high-energy costs, faded flooring and condensation buildup.

Daylight and view are two fundamental attributes of a window. Unfortunately, windows are also the source of significant solar heat gain during time when it is unwanted. Traditional solutions to reducing solar heat gain, such as tinted glazing or shades, mean that the amount of light is reduced as well. ClimaGuard with low-solar-gain coatings can provide better solar heat fain reduction than tinted glass, with a minimal loss of visible light. This also means that views can be clearer and unobstructed.

High Performance Reflective Insulated Glass Unit Spacer

Most windows are manufactured with a metal spacer in between the glass which causes excessive condensation and heat loss.

Our HeatSeal non-metal spacer creates an excellent thermal barrier and reduces the transfer of heat and cold into the home. This is the most energy-efficient system and offers lower U-Values compared to other spacers.

Protection from harmful

UV Radiation

Winter Comfort

The most harmful radiation in sunlight are ultraviolet (UV) rays, which are the most energetic and responsible for degradation of chemical bonds, leading to faded colors on your furniture, carpets, artwork, and paints. Our glass can reduce UV Radiation by up to 80%.

Our windows can improve the comfort within your home by preventing most of the radiant heat created by your heating system from being transmitted outside your home. Poorly designed windows can generate effects similar to a cold draft, even when the windows are perfectly sealed.

Condensation

ENERGY STAR Program

Low-performance windows create colder interior glass surfaces, increasing the possibility of frost and condensation.  Apex Windows with non-metal HeatSeal spacers and well designed frames significantly reduce the possibility of condensation under all conditions.

The ENERGY STAR Program was created by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy to conserve energy usage, save money, and protect the environment through the promotion of efficient products and practices.

Most of our products surpass the rigorous requirements of the current Energy Star certification guidelines. By conserving energy, our windows can not only drastically lower consumers' heating and cooling bills each month but also contribute to a bigger cause -- protecting our environment.

How to read the NFRC label

The NFRC is a nonprofit organization that provides uniform, accurate information about the energy performance of windows, doors, and skylights. In addition to creating and publishing standards for consistent ratings, the NFRC administers a certification and labeling program to provide the window buyer with accurate product information. NFRC labels on windows allow customers to compare products from different manufacturers on a fair and equal basis

What are other manufacturers saying?

APEX Windows not only outperforms competitors in energy efficiency, but also in other very important categories, including air infiltration, water infiltration, and structural integrity during severe weather. Please go to the product section for more information.
